In this episode, I sit down with Missy Wolf to share her eye-opening journey with Alpha-Gal Syndrome (AGS).
Missy's story began back in 2019, at a time when AGS was not widely recognized or understood. Due to the rarity and complexity of her case, the CDC became directly involved, conducting monthly check-ins to help gather data and better understand this emerging condition.
We talk about what AGS really is. It is a reaction to a sugar molecule found in mammalian products, and it goes far beyond just avoiding red meat. From hidden exposures to unexpected triggers, Missy shares the realities of navigating a condition that can show up in ways most people would never imagine.
This conversation brings awareness, insight and hope to anyone dealing with chronic illness, mysterious symptoms or a new diagnosis.
Stay tuned for Missy's upcoming book release in late 2026, Rise Anyway.
